What is MAS-MCP?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Grok read external data. MAS-MCP lets your AI pull MASVN market data directly – no manual copying required.

Have these 4 things ready before you connect

  • An active MASVN trading account that can sign in on WTS/New MTS.
  • An AI platform account that supports custom MCP connectors (Claude, ChatGPT…).
  • A browser that allows pop-ups/redirects to display the MASVN sign-in page.
  • The MAS-MCP Remote MCP server URL (see section 3).

04 · HOW TO USE

Just ask – your AI finds the data

Once connected, ask the AI in Vietnamese as usual. The AI picks the appropriate MAS-MCP tool – you don’t need to remember tool names.

Always allow Allow once Deny
Enable MAS-MCP in the conversationCheck that the connector is enabled in the chat’s tools menu (on Claude: the + button or tools icon → Connectors).
Allow the toolThe first time the AI calls a tool, the platform may ask for permission – choose Allow (once or always allow).
Be specificSpecify the ticker, reporting period (quarter/year), metrics and time range you want to see.
Ask for sourcesAdd “state which figures come from MAS-MCP” to distinguish them from the AI’s general knowledge.

MAS-MCP does not place orders, transfer funds or modify accounts.

Secure sign-in

Sign in only on MASVN’s official page (OAuth 2.0). MASVN will never ask for your password via AI.

Data scope

Phase 1 covers public market data only; no account data is shared with the AI.

Technical logs

Used only for operations, monitoring and compliance; passwords are not logged.

Customer rights

Withdraw consent and disconnect at any time (see section 9).

Privacy policy

The product complies with MAS internal regulations, Law No. 91/2025/QH15 and Decree 356/2025/NĐ-CP on personal data protection.

08 · TROUBLESHOOTING

Running into issues? Fix them fast

Check that the URL is correct and complete (including the final path), with no extra spaces.
Allow pop-ups in your browser, then try again.
Disconnect MAS-MCP, then reconnect to sign in again.
Your AI plan does not support custom connectors – upgrade your plan or contact your administrator.
Ask again with a specific date; cross-check with the MASVN price board.
Check that MAS-MCP is enabled in the conversation; add “use MAS-MCP” to your question.
Enter the correct ticker (e.g. FPT, HPG); newly listed tickers may not have data yet.
09 · DISCONNECT

Disconnect in 3 steps

Do this on the AI platform you use. After disconnecting, the AI can no longer access data via MAS-MCP.

  1. 1 Open Settings → Connectors (may be Apps or Plugins depending on the platform).
  2. 2 Find MAS-MCP in your list of connectors.
  3. 3 Click Disconnect / Remove and confirm.

To use it again, repeat the steps in section 3 and sign in to MASVN.
